I enjoyed visiting this sad and beautiful place. Watching the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown was amazing. Such precision and care. The grounds were immaculate. The whole experience will be remembered for a life time. Dont forget to ring the bell.

I dearly respect the women and men who served our country who lay to rest at Arlington. The grounds are too much to try to walk the entire place in a single visit. It's hard not to sense the emotions of those who visit looking for a loved one there.

Trams zoom around the cemetery so fast we could barely take pics. Plus our guide talked so fast we couldn't follow her. She was African American but still should have mentioned Robert E Lee at least once! His family donated all the land and the Arlington House was his home. Not a word from our bored tour guide!

Amazing place to visit. I want there with my family and it is one of my favorite monuments. Yes there is a good amount of walking but you can also take a tram. I highly advise people to come here.

If you visit, seeing the soldiers at the Tomb of the Unknowns is a must. I will pick a section of the grounds to visit and pay my respects there. You can lock your bike at the entrance.

For those on bikeshare, park your bike by Lincoln monument, then walk over. It is a lot of walking. A cab line is always there and at Lincoln monument. The cab round trip can be cheaper than letting timeshare bike just sit for 1+ hour.

Very humbling! We took the tram car around and stopped at a few stops to look further. It was a very hot day so the tram provided some relief from the heat. Arlington house was also very interesting and had some fantastic guides who were happy to give us a run down on the history.
