Really awesome experience, super quick and cordial. They don't offer a lot of services so be sure to check before you head out. Parking isn't the best downtown but don't waste a ton of coins once you've found a spot. I put 3 hours worth on my parking meter anticipating a long wait and I was out in 15-20 mins. It's on the second floor once you enter.
I have been here several times and find the staff members to be polite, friendly, respectful, and very helpful. They help each other out when necessary. The facility is clean and attractive. One more reason this California transplant loves Arlington County.
If I could choose 0 star then I would. The office staff who worked at road test window had attitude problem and very unprofessional. We were there at least five minutes before our appointment time and patiently waited at the long line. When we approached the window, the staff was unhappy and rude because she called our number twice, and our appointment was the last one of the day. The staff apparently was ready to go home and not wanted to take another road test, therefore the male staff asked us to provide document that was not required by Virginia regulation - we were asked to provide certification of our valid foreign drivers license, which has dual languages including English, from Embassy. Because of this unreasonable and unlawful requirement, our scheduled road test was denied which caused us wasting of our half day of working time and created unnecessary burden.
Never seen a more efficient government office or politer government officers! For title transfer, registration and license, it took all of 20 minutes!! No waiting... I am still pinching myself - was it really a DMV office? ☺️ Well yes it was and I am so thankful - this sets the benchmark for services
Got my car title and registration done very quickly! It's a great place to go if you fit the categories they can help you with. Customer service wasn't great but they got the job done so that's all you can ask for.
