The amazing folks at KW are true real estate experts that care about clients and relationships above all else.
I had a horrible experience with the Moya Team at Keller Williams. Took 7 months to get some renovations done and my condo sold. Now, because I wrote a few reviews online, they had their attorney email me 3 more times and say they're filing a law suit against me! It seems they don't like free speech. So I gave them my business, paid close to $50,000 in commissions, but because they're upset over my reviews, they're suing me. How nice of them!
I've heard terrible things about these guys. It seems they only want your money, but if they're busy, or once you sign up with them, they treat you like garbage. I can't believe a real estate agency would be so bad with their customers. I called them once and never got a call back, and then read these reviews. Now, I'm glad they didn't call me back, they sound like a disaster.
There's lots more very poor treatment I got, and I bet they do it to others. It's clear to me, they just wanted my money and it doesn't matter how I got treated. Do yourself a HUGE favor and run, don't walk, in the other direction, before signing with David Moya and Keller Williams.
My first time there and Google maps sent me to the garage entrace on the lower level in the back. Eventually I parked on the plaza level, but, there was no sign outside to show that KW was at that location. It's the first building on the right after the plaza parking entrance. I had called in advance about the parking and was told that street parking was available and plan to use the parking meters. This advice was very ineffective and did not coincide with my experience.
I've never had a problem, before dealing with David Moya's group, but this has been a complete nightmare for me for the last 7 months. Seriously, save yourself the pain and headaches, and go with Long and Foster or another company. I bought 2 condos in DC with Long and Foster, and everything went perfectly smoothly. The whole process from seeing the condos to closing took about 5 weeks. Unfortunately, I made the terrible mistake of letting Keller WIlliams' David Moya group sell my condos. David Moya is a good salesman and may talk you into signing with him, but after I signed with him, I almost never heard from him again. Instead, he has (what seemed to me) like incompetent, overworked employees, who really don't know what they're doing.
Very bad initial experience. They didn't even show up, no call, no email, no response, no communication. I hope all other Keller & Williams offices are not like this one.
On one condo she told me I should list at 435K, and I knew that was low. After numerous back and forth emails, I insisted we list it higher, and I was right, we got quite a bit more. On the other condo, she wasn't even in the right ballpark. She couldn't even get many views, at the price she listed it. I ended up getting about $50,000 less than the price she told me we could get. How can you be this far off, if this is your job?
