I usually come here for happy hours, which I highly recommend. If you aren't too much of a beer snob, you can get a few beers for very cheap. I also recommend their happy hour appetizers, which have hit the spot every time I ordered from there. The service is good, and the servers are nice. The bathroom is accessible and decently clean as far as bars go. I really like the fact that they have tons of TV's that you can see from anywhere in the pub. I'd recommend this place for happy hour, but I'm not sure I'd come back here for dinner, which is the reason this review oddly sounds good but only gets three stars.
The incident was an under cooked burger, which I usually don't mind or make a big deal of. I decided to order my burger medium rare, which I never do. Given that I usually order well done burgers, I was halfway into it when I realized that it was raw. The server took my burger back to the kitchen, and the manager presented me with the same burger that I'd bit into, but it was cooked to well done and placed on a new bun. The cook did this rather than cooking an entirely new burger...I found this odd...
Very good for the price with lots of televisions. If there's a big game on that you're trying to catch, look up and there's a good chance you'll see it without turning your neck. Decor is great, littered with sports paraphernalia. Servers are nice and there's lots of room, so you'll rarely have to wait for a table.
Atmosphere was great for a sports bar and you can't beat their hours, especially on a Sunday. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is due to the food. Very bland taste, no seasoning and the wife's fish and chips were terrible. Over fried and still frozen fish. Will I still go back? Sure will!
Great place to watch football and grab a drink. There are 3 levels (sometimes third level is closed or reserved) so there's plenty of space even when there's a lot of people. The food is consistently good and the staff is friendly. Overall, a great bar.
Anyway, I like the drink prices and service, and atmosphere enough that i'll be returning, but I can't recommend the kitchen, or at least ordering anything other than well done.
Excellent Lobster Mac and Cheese!! The Crab Cakes Sandwich was also very good!! Comfortable and a good selection of beer (draft and bottle) and wine. Reasonable prices
