My family and I had a great experience here at this place. The food and service were both excellent. Our server, I believe his name was Rich ( bald Caucasian man) was incredible. The lobsters here are estimated to be served 20-25 minuted after ordering, but we informed our server Rich, we didn’t have much time and we had to catch a flight, so he lets the kitchen know about our time frame and he got our lobsters out before 15 minutes. He did a great job in our experience here. The crab stuffed lobster and the seaweed salad I ordered were fantastic. Definitely coming back and recommend Rich!
Very busy place but only had to wait re 5 minutes for a party of 4. We arrived between 7:30 and 8:00pm.Efficient, friendly, well-informed staff. Restaurant was packed, but surprisingly, very comfortable for conversation. Menu extensive. Top notch seafood quality in all of our choices. Service prompt. Would recommend and certainly would return.
Raw oysters were really good. Didn't like the Sandy ones as much as the other but still good. Tuna rice bowl was good but could have done without whatever nut they out in it. They were small but hard as a rock. Wait time during the peak hours is kind of long but the entire place was packed for the most part. Thought about sitting at the bar being it was 1st come 1st serve but u have little to no room to eat so decided to wait for a table.
Just a small tip, if....... you don't know how to eat seafood or never try........ make sure you ask 150 questions before you complain ;-)
Let's say.... normally we lunch always at this restaurant but in Tysons Corner but we dinner here in Crystal City, and we can not match the same flavor on the cesar salad with grill salmon, so we change the menu, for this garlic and shrimp pasta........ and the ...... catfish matrimony ..... let's say, yes! Now it is a Dinner ;-)
service was great, the food was mediocre. I ended up with a salad that I had to pick through to try and eat. It had old sunflower seeds on it that tasted horrible. must not have many people order a salad there. anyway the best thing they had was their homemade dinner rolls! To die for good. super overpriced for what it was.
