For the main course I had a 10oz. steak with a creamy mushroom sauce, mixed veggies and fries. The 2nd order was a San Antonio burger with 2 cheeses, an egg, lettuce, tomatoes and fries.
The atmosphere reminded me of a similar experience I had in San Antonio, Tx on the riverwalk.
While exploring the Shops at Crystal City, I was drawn to a very inviting entrance flagged by beautifully carved wooden doors leading into a multi level Tex Mex restaurant. There are two back to back bars with large, wide screen TV's. Seating options include: cozy, private, booth, group and family.
The restaurant offers daily specials and happy hour (at the bar only) from 3p-6p. This combo attracts many. It became clear around 5pm that this is a very popular dining experience as it became a little crowded. Well worth a repeat visit.

Would give zero stars if possible. Never received what we ordered, and what they brought instead was cold and bland. We asked the waiter if this was what we ordered and he said no, but at that point, we were so hungry we just ate it and knew that we won't come back. There are WAY too many good restaurants near here, so go anywhere else!
Convenient in the tunnel location and server was very nice. Not my favorite food, had the enchiladas and were just a little weird tasting so sent them back and didn't opt for anything else. Tried the chocolate cake and it was very dry. My wife liked the seafood soup and and the tortilla soup. I tried the Chili con Carne and it was decent as was the Chili con quest dip. They did not remove or discount the enchiladas at all after sending something back almost untouched which had always annoys me from a service perspective.
To my delight the service was quick, and the frozen margaritas were awesome. We tried a mango strawberry combo and a mango peach combo. Be prepared the liquor sneaks up on you. The flavors were perfect. The chips were warm, and the salsa was spicy.
I'm in town from TX and is stay in Crystal City; I has been here twice. I ordered the salmon and pasta, surprising they both were excellent. I did not expect that coming from a Mexican style restaurant and the drink by far is never watered down not even happy hr drinks. Love this place.
I would give zero stars if the option was available. Terrible customer service and I can only comment on the taste of the chips and guacamole as it was they were the only items I received in the hour I was there. It was bland and I had to alter it by adding lime juice, salt, and salsa. The server was incompetent and the management slow to come to our table when requested.
We were told an hour after ordering entrees that it would be ANOTHER hour before our food would be ready because they were preparing for a party that evening. If the kitchen staff is that incompetent and unorganized then the restaurant should have been closed for said party.
