The hotel itself is great. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. I give 3 stars because the pr ice for parking is outrageous. I paid $30/night. That is highway robbery! I only paid $70 for the room. The parking should be free for hotel customers.
However, on the last day staying here, my friend and I were scolded and glared at by the shuttle driver as we had entered the shuttle before the flight crews did. I did not notice until later on, when we had arrived the hotel, a flight attendant came to us and said sorry for such behaviors of the driver.
There was no minibar nor microwave in the room, though. Besides, the price does not include free breakfast. It was not a big problem for us as we prefer to have something that most of the hotels do not serve for breakfast.
Room was clean. Staff nice. Easy access to the metro by provided shuttle. Nice restaurant. Free buffet breakfast that was cold the first day but back warm on day 2. Was there on Thanksgiving and a traditional Thanksgiving was available if wanted which I had. It was very good and plentiful.
The room was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. Also, it was huge with a pretty big bathroom with a full-size bathtub. We got the room on the tenth floor with a tremendous view to The Pentagon and Lincoln Memorial. The carpet was pretty clean. The most important thing to us for staying in any hotel or motel was the bed. To us, they all look great, absolute white, and spotless. The receptionists and the stewardess were very helpful and amiable. There was a free shuttle to the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City and the Ronald Reagan National Airport every half an hour.
This hotel features Amazing ballroom space and is excellent for hosting large parties, such as a wedding or a bar mitzvah. The hotel is easy to access and has relatively cheap self parking options available. The rooms themselves, while large and nicely laid out, are outdated and in need of a modernization. Pretty good bang for your buck.
Everything was great at this upscale hotel. We checked in here on Christmas Day and stayed for two nights for a tour in D.C. With only $63 including tax per room per night, it absolutely could not be going wrong. An excellent deal, indeed.
A very nice hotel that is not within the DC downtown area. It's by a calm neighborhood and within walking distance of the Arlington cemetery and the Pentagon. The hotel itself is very modern and clean. My room was larger than usual for a hotel room. Parking was also nice, as the hotel has a built in parking garage that keeps your car out of the snow and you can take an elevator right to it from the lobby.
