Great park, they have outdoor table tennis, and giant chess you can play for free. Lots of hammocks and chairs and tables, oh my!
Really love coming here. Almost daily on our walks. It has a dog watering station along side the people fountain and bike repair stand that we always use, right at the entrance to the Mt Vernon Trail. The chairs, hammocks and fountains ate a great lunch spot. There's also a little Egyptian food stand that always smells great. Love how relaxing this spot is with the water & ping pong table and large chess board for everyone to use. Great gem of the city.
