This is a wonderful Memorial dedicated to displaying the history and dedication of female service members. The Women in Military Service memorial should make all American women proud to be citizens of the United States.
I want to say thanks to the nurses that cared for me in 1970-71. Whether they were at a hospital in Vietnam (Cu Chi), Japan (the 249th), or here in the USA (Walter Reed and Valley Forge) I was always given the best of care.
It was a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed the displays and view the uniforms and stories of the women that came before me.
It's a beautiful and fitting memorial to women who have served in our US armed forces. I've visited many times and continue to get women who have served to register with WIMSA and to tell their stories. Each story is important and should be recorded for eternity.
