Sales Associate was great. With little knowledge of fashion, she helped me put together a nice outfit that was comfortable and dressy. She also explained why she would put or not put colors together. Will thank her the next time in the store and because of her, as well as the selection, I will be going back to the store instead of spending an hour in Macy's looking for an outfit..

Ok where do I start. I will not make this a bad review just something i spotted when i enter this location. The sale associate Titianna I may spelled her name wrong but she was Amazing. Her customer service was on point she greeted me and started the fitting room for me without me asking. She check up on me and also suggested so other things for me. No the Assistant manager Hmmmmm idk about her I came in early probably about 30 mins after the store open . She was more focus on her Daily sales sheet she was filling out. She did engage one of her VIP customer that shops there often. She look me right in my face saw clothes in my hand and look back at the sheets she was working on. I walk in front her 5 times to see if she was going to speak or anything Nope not a word. Then she ask 10 mins later you finding everything ok I said yes and keep looking for work clothes. Then I ask her do this shirt comes in any other color she said no and continued to write on her paper. She didnt suggest another shirt color or anything. Im s till trying to find out how is she anyone Assistant Manager when the sale associate had more customer services then her. So they did get a 3 star only because Titanna but the assistant manager she needs more training in customer service and communication. That store can do way more Sales if the management was on point. I hope this review hit someone that can help maybe corporate or even the Store manager.;

I live in the neighborhood behind the mall and love supporting New York and Co. The store offers affordable work appropriate clothing. I shop there often (multiple times in a week type of often). However, today, I made the decision to return an item because of an interaction I had with an employee. This location has left sensors on my clothing twice. The first time, I noticed as getting dressed for Easter service and had to wear the sensor to church. I took the shirt back and the manager was apologetic and extremely nice about removing the sensor. The second time I realized a sensor was left on an item I purchased was last night. I returned to the store to have the sensor taken off the sweater today and the employee was quite rude about removing it because I did not have the receipt. She even attempted to blame me for not giving my phone number during the transaction where I purchased the sweater - even though I was not prompted to do so. She insinuated that she had no proof that I had purchased the sweater the night before. I offered to go and retrieve the receipt and just return the sweater altogether during the interaction (including the employee’s failed attempts to FaceTime and call her boss presumably to verify that I had purchased the sweater the night before). In the end, I returned the sweater and will likely not shop at this convenient location again. I am not a thief and do not like being treated as such (especially over a $24 sweater that I would have never returned but for this horrible interaction). I would suggest this location receive (1) additional customer service training and (2) training on how to check for and remove the sensors from clothing. New York and Company Pentagon City just lost a loyal customer.

Was trying to call the store and the employee named Heavenly was extremely rude and hung up on me multiple times. She had also threatened me. The staff is very rude as can be seen by the other reviews here.

Customer service is horrible the employees have a attitude. They did not assist me when I came to the cashier to get checked out.
