Went above and beyond in providing my wife with great service, getting her all set up and making sure she was all dialed in. Very nice to know she has a great resource that will be there in the future.
Dont buy a bike online, support the stores that take of you, service like they provide cant be gotten online and their prices were the same or incredibly close. Congrats Charles on a great shop and thanks again for all the help and making sure Mary was taken care of. Easily a top 20 in the Country shop!!

Nice shop staffed by great people with great ownership! Took my wife for her to get a new bike. Met with a young man who was learning the bike business, owner was right on the spot to help him and us make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Worked hard to locate the bike from their other shop. You can tell a lot about a business by how they treat their people, very cool to see them willing to teach a young guy in good way.
I couldn't have imagined a more courteous and knowledgeable service experience from the folks at Conte's in Arlington, especially Charles! It's a family owned and run business, and they truly treat their customer like family -- I experienced it and witnessed the consistency with other customers in the store that day. I had originally purchased a folding bike online based on photos and reviews for commuting to work, but after one ride I quickly realized that this bike wouldn't cut the 22mi daily ride. I decided to find a local shop and spend more time getting to know the options and test ride some bikes. Charles explained the options to me and ended up highly recommending the Tern Verge P10 and knew SO much about it. I was really impressed! I took it for a test ride and decided to buy it! He helped me choose some accessories for it and custom ordered them for me. He even offered to buy the other folding bike off me to use as a rental in his store, and gave me credit towards the purchase of my new Tern folding bike. I've cycled to work a few times now and the experience is noticably different! It's an amazing bike and I couldn't be more thankful to Charles and his team for their expertise and exceptional customer service! Charles, Taylor (usually at the Ft Lauderdale location), and Wayne at the Conte’s Bike Shop Arlington location all exhibited the highest level of customer service, knowledge, and professionalism in the selection and fitting of my dream bike over the last couple of weeks. I recently registered for an Ironman and needed everything from a dependable bike, to a trainer, and everything in between. Taylor spent several hours educating me on nuances of bikes within my price range to make sure I received the highest quality for the price, Charles facilitated the purchase and recommended several items such as a good trainer and rack, and Wayne spent more than an hour fitting me for the bike. All three took the extra time to answer all of my questions and to educate me. I also really appreciate the time that Adam took to show me how my new trainer works and how to install the rack on my vehicle. All personnel that I’ve had the pleasure of working with have been extremely welcoming and knowledgeable on bikes. I cannot recommend Contes shop in Arlington enough. By far some of the most knowledgable people when it comes to the world of bicycles. I just purchased my second bike from them and could not be happier. They were right there to help ever since I first walked into the store and ensured that I found what I was looking for.
