I came by just after 6 pm last Saturday with my malfunctioning bike on the off chance the shop was still open. They said they officially closed at 6 but asked if they could help, and then proceeded to fix my bike, and refused to accept payment. Love these guys. I've brought my bike in a couple of times to them for some repairs and a tune up and, both times, they've done a quick and great job for a reasonable price.
I usually take my bike here to get flats replaced and they seemed like reasonable business owners. Unfortunately, they're in a dispute with a neighboring business over parking spaces and have given permission to towing companies to tow cars 24/7--even when their business is closed. After retrieving my car from towing at 6:15AM (nearly three hours before Fresh Bikes even opens), this local veteran will not be returning to this petty business.
