Great staff. From check out to check in everyone was courteous and helpful. I rented two vans and they had different prices (my only real complaint) but vans were clean and ready
CONSUMER ALERT! In October 2017, Budget Car Rental changed their refund policy. In my case, I had a 23 day rental and returned the vehicle 8 days early. According to their new policy, they are keeping the entire amount! So blatantly greedy and abusive of their customers. Never, ever going to use Budget ever again. I would advise others to do the same.
We rented a car with Budget Santiago Airport ,Chile , four months prior to our trip, we fully paid for it. We were supposed to pick the car up at 12, we got there at 2 and they told us that they don’t have a car for us because we were late! Horrible service, i had to fight with them for 2 hours and eventually I cancelled my booking and went with a different local company! I heard from other travelers that they had the same experience with Avis because their flight was delayed!
Always has an excellent choice of cars, quick pickup and easy drop off. Excellent customer service. I have been using budget for 4+ years and have never been disappointed. I tried enterprise 2 times and was not happy at all. Budget is competitive and consistent!
When I got to the Budget counter there was a long line of people (from my flight) and only 1 agent. I did notice the agent was very good at working on 2 parties at once - while one was using the pin pad he'd start the next. Another agent did finally arrive. When I got to the original agent, Omar, he was so apologetic for the wait (which was so much shorter than I anticipated) and surprisingly pleasant and friendly given the line of people. He made the whole process painless. I was so impressed by this man - my expectations were exceeded because of him - his friendliness, professionalism and effectiveness.
